Stem cell trial on Batten disease shows no side effects

California based biotechnology firm StemCells Inc. conducted an experimental (U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved) trial with their own stem cell treatment procedure. After stem cells being injected into six children with advanced stage of rare and fatal disorder like Batten disease no dangerous side effects observed, it was well tolerated by all the patients.
