Umbilical cord blood cells has again saved a life. This time the survivor is Eva Winston-Hart, 4 years.

Eva Winston is a child from Harborough in Leicestershire, who was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia in 2006.

During that time her family doctor informed her mother Amy about cord blood cells, that have a chance of saving her daughters life. As said, from then, she started searching for cord blood cells.

Then one lucky day she found cord blood cells in the US, Anthony Nolan Trust Cord Blood Bank and with the help of that blood, the treatment become successful.

“She wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for cord blood. In the end, just a few millilitres was enough to save her. Thanks for the precious gift which saves my daughters life”, says Eva’s mother.
