With a believe that public awareness will help in quickening the stem cell research, three renown universities are teaming up with each other. There main aim will be to educate more people regarding the latest developments in stem cell therapy from midstate region.

The three universities are Penn State University’s College of Medicine at Hershey Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and the Greater Lebanon Valley Lions Club. One researchers from each University will join the group and will help in educating the peoples from the midstate region regarding the stem cell therapy and its achievements.

The main initiative was taken by a member of Lions Club, Ted Anspach when he went to Johns Hopkins for treatment for his multiple sclerosis. He also brought Kerr north to speak to the Lions, and enlisted Colin Barnstable, an eye researcher at Hershey, to also talk regarding the matter. And from then they are working for educating people regarding the stem cell therapy.
