All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, INDIA, have been actively involved in stem cell research in various degenerative disorders. The Stem Cell Facility was established in 2005 to explore the safety, feasibility and the efficacy of autologous hematopoietic and cord blood stem cell transplantation in degenerative diseases.
