LifeCell, pioneers in stem cell banking and research in India, today announced that Dr Amit N Patel has joined its scientific advisory board.

Dr Patel is an internationally acclaimed cardiothoracic surgeon and pioneer of stem cell research and therapies for cardiac disorders.

Addressing a press meet after the announcement, Dr Patel said India had the potential to become the superstar of cell therapy in the next three to four years.
