This strikes me as a wasted investment. Esto me parece una inversión baldía. Cord stem cell research has not yielded any major progress in the prevention or curing of diseases, and in some cases has made things worse. Last year, scientists in Korea gave a woman, “Hwang Mi Soon,” a spinal injection of umbilical cord blood which, at first, allowed her to walk again despite her paralysis.
